In September's issue of Paper Magazine, British pop star Lily Allen talks about her tumultuous adolescence which involved ecstasy dealing at age 14. Although she has parted ways with her alternative career and has playfully chastised her younger brother Alfie in song about his use of marijuana, she insists, 'I'm not gonna say I'm never gonna do drugs again, because I don't like breaking promises. I just know I'm not a good person on drugs.'

The Smile singer says she attempted to give up her hard-partying lifestyle after she found out she was carrying her then boyfriend, Ed Simons of the Chemical Brothers, baby. Allen was reportedly treated for depression after suffering a miscarriage a few weeks in. She says: 'It was the hardest thing for me. When I realised I was pregnant and realised I wanted to have the baby, I made a huge decision – to make my life more stable.'

The star admits to even shocking herself with her bad vice indulgence, recalling herself being hauled out of this years Glamour Women of the Year Awards, inebriated and unconscious.

'I can't believe I got in that state...Because it is totally not in my repertoire to do something like that. I'm actually a bit of control freak', she says.

Famed for her down-heartened blog postings, Lily confesses to ongoing self esteem issues admitting she thinks her own music is 'bad' and that she has a tendency to run from her problems.

'My therapist says one of my coping mechanisms is to always be thinking of a way out.'

On her insatiable pop hits, Allen tells Paper magazine: 'I wake up every day and think I'm actually pretty bad at it. I work hard at getting better. But if this record flops, I'll probably go back to school. I've always liked architecture.'

так обидно, часть фотографий оставленная в киеве, задержалась на границе украинской на 3ое суток, т.к. друг, будучи в очень неадекватном состоянии, потеряв миграционную карту, нахамил хохляцким таможенникам.

а еще нас с антоном чуть не убили-ограбили, в общем что-то непонятное было, но благо у меня голова на плечах осталась в 4 утра после вечеринки, я смогла сообразить, что что-то не так.

Former Cosby kid Lisa Bonet (aka Lilakoi Moon) not only just had a kid with Stargate Atlantis uberhunk Jason Momoa, she's snared a recurring role on the upcoming ABC cop show-with-a-twist, Life on Mars. Bonet will play Maya Daniels, the girlfriend and fellow police officer of Jason O'Mara's Sam Tyler.

Unfortunately for Maya, as Mars goes (as least as based on the hit BBC series), Sam is now stranded in 1973 and, like, that was a real swinging time. So we suspect he won't be getting back to Maya anytime soon.

Maya was played in the U.K. version of Mars by Archie Panjabi (A Good Year).

Michael Phelps' Spitz-sinking swim on Saturday elevated NBC to its best ratings on the once-mighty, now-dead night in about a generation.

Still, the golden boy of the Beijing Games couldn't topple The Golden Girls, which held on to its title as NBC's most-watched Saturday-night show of the last 18 years.

Overall, NBC's first full week of Olympic action was ratings gold, with the network scoring the most lopsided Nielsen wins in more than 20 years.

Through last night, NBC said, the Beijing Games were averaging 29.6 million prime-time viewers, up 13 percent over the 2004 Athens Games.

Add in the viewers watching table tennis, kayaking, etc., on MSNBC, USA and other NBC sister networks, and 200 million people overall tuned in the Summer Games' first 11 days, NBC said.

Network sports chief Dick Ebersol credited the surge in interest to "the mystery of China," and the success of U.S. atheletes, led by Phelps.

A Phelps race, women's gymnastics and beach volleyball combined to average 34 million viewers for last Tuesday's Olympic card, which finished No. 1 in the latest Nielsen Media Research rankings.

In the silver-medal position was Saturday's Olympic coverage, which averaged 31.6 million prime-time viewers, and featured Phelps' final swim of the games.

The climactic race earned Phelps his eighth gold medal of this Olympics, surpassing Spitz's 36-year-old record, and earned NBC its biggest number on the night since a Feb. 24, 1990 episode of The Golden Girls ("Twice in a Lifetime") averaged 32 million viewers.

While Phelps came up shy of toppling Dorothy, et al, he did surpass the Feb. 24, 1990 episode of Empty Nest, a Golden Girls spinoff, which "only" averaged 31.4 million viewers.

Apparently before uncovering the Golden Girls rating, NBC, in fact, awarded Phelps its Nielsen gold medal in a press release that trumpeted the swimmer's victory over Empty Nest.

In the end, not even The Golden Girls could match the 40 million that NBC averaged for the 11 p.m. half-hour that featured the decisive Phelps race.

Yesterday we posted some photographs of the whole Gossip Girl on set of the show, including some pictures that showed what looked like Ed Westwick’s character Chuck Bass in a bit of a fight.

Now there is more photos of the three males on the show, Westwick, Chace Crawford and Penn Badgley as they all work hard on the show on the campus of Columbia University in New York City in New York City on Tuesday (August 19).

Season 2 of Gossip Girl premieres on the CW on Monday, September 1 at 8PM ET/PT right before the premiere of One Tree Hill at 9PM ET/PM.

Lori Miller, from Dearborn, Michigan, has been a psychic her whole life, and now runs her own company on the subject. She has spoken to literally thousands of discarnate entities in her lifetime. Recently, when contacting the spirit of a deceased relative of one of her clients, Lori had a surprise run-in with the spirit of Heath Ledger.
